It was indeed a wonderful & a beautiful Sunday. Slightly more than thirty came to help, as expected. There was no sms’s going around asking people to join. The news broke through the blog., mine through my wordpress & Lin Ji through her facebook. The internet is really doing wonders here…
Jan Shim was very supportive of the idea. Lin Jin too. Rubbish made these two cyber friends met for the very first time 🙂
I would like to take this opportunity to thank:
1. My wife & her siblings for preparing fried bihun on that day.
2. Ah Kiat (Class of Novemver 2009) for sponsoring 5 boxes of drinking water.
3. Ah Seng of 1st. Emporium (Class of November 2009) for sponsoring 2 dustbins.
4. Thomas Koh of Aircats Fowarding (Class of May 2007) for providing 2 workers & a light pick-up truck.
5. The ITB/UBD students who join-in the effort.
6. The 2 security guy of Jerudong beach who also lend a hand especially to ‘save’ the dustbins from being stolen…
